Techconnect.id is looking for a DevOps Engineer on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, provisioning, and scaling of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) across multiple product lines.
- Strategize the DevOps roadmap in partnership with Engineering leadership by defining standards, tooling choices, and long-term infrastructure direction.
- Authorize technical decisions on infrastructure architecture, CI/CD pipeline design, and automation frameworks.
- Synergize efforts across development, security, and platform teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable deployments.
- Negotiate trade-offs between reliability, cost, security, and delivery speed, providing clear recommendations to stakeholders.
- Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for critical production issues, driving long-term remediation.
- Enable safe AI-assisted engineering workflows by improving test execution, environment reproducibility, access controls, and documentation.
- Evaluate emerging DevOps tools and platforms; recommend adoption where they meaningfully improve reliability, security, or velocity.
- Formulate and enforce security best practices, compliance standards, and disaster recovery strategies across infrastructure.
- Lead the strategy for infrastructure-as-code governance, versioning, and configuration management.
- Mentor and grow mid and junior engineers through structured feedback, pairing, and technical guidance.
- Plan and control infrastructure delivery milestones, proactively surfacing risks and coordinating resolution across teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure roles, with a demonstrable track record of running production-grade systems at scale.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including multi-account and multi-region architecture.
- Proven mastery of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation) and configuration management at scale.
- Extensive experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Argo CD, or equivalent).
- Strong command of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) in production environments.
- Deep experience with observability i.e monitoring, logging, and tracing (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar).
- Proven ability to design and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure infrastructure.
- Experience leading security governance: vulnerability management, access control, and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and the security considerations around code, logs, secrets, and automation access.
- Strong scripting/programming skills (Bash, Python, or Go) for automation and tooling.
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with incident management, on-call leadership, and post-mortem processes.
- Good communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, written and spoken.

- Employment type: through 3rd party/ vendor.
- Duration: 24 months fixed term (subject to change based on business needs).
- Work setup: Full onsite with dedicated full office hours based in BSD, Tangerang.
