Responsibilities
- Act as the analytics partner across cross-functional product teams, using data and insights to shape product strategy and drive measurable outcomes.
- Help teams turn strategic goals, customer problems, and product hypotheses into clear questions, measurable outcomes, and meaningful success metrics.
- Analyze customer journeys, funnels, conversion, activation, feature adoption, engagement, retention, and customer segments.
- Use product and business data to identify behavioral patterns, friction points, and opportunities for improvement or growth.
- Support prioritization by establishing baselines, sizing opportunities, and explaining potential customer and business impact.
- Use Amplitude to explore customer behavior, create cohorts, and build clear, reusable dashboards.
- Improve how Awin uses Amplitude through consistent metric definitions, event taxonomies, dashboard templates, and documentation.
- Work with Product and Engineering to define tracking requirements, address implementation gaps, and ensure data is captured accurately.
- Help teams design and evaluate product experiments by defining hypotheses, primary and guardrail metrics, and suitable methods for interpreting results.
- Build simple BI reports and self-service dashboards that connect product performance with customer, commercial, and operational outcomes.
- Combine quantitative analysis with UX Research and customer feedback to understand both what customers are doing and why.
- Communicate findings clearly through concise narratives, visualizations, and practical recommendations.
- Help product teams become more confident and independent in their use of data.
- Act as a trusted analytical partner to Product leadership.
- Drive best practices for product measurement and experimentation.
Requirements
- Experience in product analytics, product data, digital analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related senior role.
- Worked directly with digital product teams and understand how Product, Design, Research, and Engineering collaborate.
- Ability to move beyond reporting what happened to explain why it matters and what a team should consider doing next.
- Proficiency in SQL and comfortable exploring large or complex datasets.
- Experience using a BI or data-visualization platform such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or an equivalent tool.
- Hands-on experience with a product analytics platform such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, or an equivalent.
- Experience supporting product experiments and A/B tests, including defining hypotheses and success metrics and interpreting results appropriately.
- Understanding of product instrumentation, including event taxonomies, tracking plans, and metric definitions.
- Some experience defining product KPIs, measurement frameworks, and appropriate success and guardrail metrics.
- Ability to translate ambiguous product or business problems into focused analytical questions.
- Communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable working across different product areas and balancing deeper analysis with faster questions that help teams maintain momentum.
- Experience with Amplitude preferred but not necessary.
