Responsibilities
- Deliver Professional Services engagements such as installation, migration, training, and advisory services
- Plan and execute GitLab deployments across a range of architectures, from single-node Omnibus installations to large reference architectures using infrastructure as code and configuration as code practices
- Oversee and perform migrations from multiple source systems to GitLab SaaS or self-managed GitLab
- Provide technical guidance across the GitLab feature stack
- Partner closely with project managers and engagement managers
- Manage and deliver multiple customer projects at once
- Mentor and assist other Professional Services Engineers
- Work closely with GitLab's product and engineering teams to remove blockers for customers
Requirements
- Professional experience with one or more infrastructure as code or configuration as code tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, or Chef
- Active Secrets or TS/SCI clearance is required
- Occasional travel to SCIF sites as needed
- Due to government security requirements, you must be a United States Citizen
- Ability to lead technical delivery end-to-end, including discovery, planning, documentation, and knowledge transfer
