Responsibilities
- Empower Marketing & Product Teams to launch risk based, brand forward promotional campaigns across all channels
- Collaborate to design and implement a practical and comprehensive financial promotions framework
- Perform pre-launch and ongoing marketing compliance legal and regulatory analysis and risk assessments
- Design scalable and customer-centric solutions to regulatory requirements
- Offer effective advice to Marketing and Product Managers on existing and forthcoming Regulations, gaps, and risks
- Identify and manage Regulatory Risks across all financial promotions offered to and for customers globally
- Oversee the global control environment, designing effective, creative and targeted controls and evaluating the residual risk exposure
- Collaborate with Compliance colleagues to ensure Wise Product Teams are constantly aware of the most recent regulations and guidance
- Work with Marketing & Product Teams and the wider Risk & Compliance Team to implement and maintain Management Information
- Conduct audit management and, where required, challenge audit findings in collaboration with Compliance second line and Product teams
- Develop and deliver effective issue management to mitigate regulatory risks
Requirements
- Previous experience of approving financial promotions/advertising gained either as part of a Compliance or Marketing role
- Financial Regulation advisory experience and comfortable interpreting regulations (e.g. ASA requirements, COBS, UDAAP)
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex regulatory frameworks and apply them effectively
- Ability to effectively communicate with Marketing Managers and Compliance and provide practical, actionable, and value added recommendations
- Problem solving attitude, with the ability to use regulations together with data to drive business decisions
- Experience (or interest) in working in a fast-growing environment
