Responsibilities
- Define the product design strategy for high-level, ambiguous business challenges, ensuring alignment between user needs and long-term commercial goals.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to drive architectural decisions and platform-wide design standards.
- Champion a culture of design excellence by mentoring senior designers and fostering high-quality craft across the organisation.
- Identify and tackle systemic design opportunities that improve performance, accessibility, and user satisfaction at scale.
- Act as a bridge between functions, using your influence to align cross-functional teams around a unified product vision.
Requirements
- Extensive experience leading complex design initiatives from conception to launch within large-scale, high-growth environments.
- Proven ability to define and drive design strategy, successfully managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated track record of mentoring designers and elevating the quality of work within high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex design visions and influence senior leadership.
- Deep technical fluency and a strategic understanding of how design influences engineering constraints and product outcomes.
