Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate a clear creative vision aligned with strategic goals, brand positioning, and audience needs.
- Translate business objectives into innovative creative strategies, concepts, and campaigns that deliver measurable results.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire designers, writers, and creative contributors while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure creative initiatives are aligned across marketing, digital, and business priorities.
- Provide creative direction, feedback, and guidance to internal teams and external partners.
- Oversee the creation of campaigns, visual identities, messaging, multimedia assets, and digital experiences across web, email, social media, paid media, presentations, and print channels.
- Ensure all creative outputs maintain consistent brand standards, quality, tone, and customer relevance.
- Contribute hands-on to high-impact projects through concept development, copy refinement, and design collaboration when needed.
- Use analytics, testing methodologies, audience insights, and performance data to optimize creative strategies.
- Partner with marketing and analytics teams to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, defining timelines, resources, deliverables, and priorities.
- Build scalable creative systems, templates, and processes that support efficient campaign execution and brand consistency.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, competitor activity, and evolving creative practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in creative leadership roles, preferably within digital marketing, brand, or performance-driven environments.
- Proven success developing and executing high-performing creative campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative direction across paid media, social platforms, websites, email campaigns, presentations, and multimedia projects.
- Deep understanding of brand strategy, storytelling, consumer behavior, and user-centered design principles.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on creative execution.
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and developing design and copywriting teams.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across different functions.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and project management abilities.
- Experience using data and performance insights to guide creative decisions and optimization.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working within a regulated, complex, or rapidly changing industry environment is a plus.
- Ability to work from a New York City office several days per week.

- Competitive base salary range of approximately $170,000–$200,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
