About the company

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager based in the United States.

This is a senior digital marketing leadership role focused on driving measurable growth through performance marketing.

Responsibilities
  • Own the strategy, budget, performance, and optimization of Paid Search programs, including bid strategies, account structures, keyword management, automation, and platform performance.
  • Set strategic direction and performance standards for Pay-Per-Lead, Paid Social, Programmatic, and Video channels, while delegating day-to-day execution to direct reports.
  • Establish campaign QA standards, escalation processes, and operational best practices to ensure consistent execution and quality across digital programs.
  • Own comprehensive reporting across managed channels, translating campaign performance into insights, optimization opportunities, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Manage the overall digital marketing budget, allocating resources across channels, campaigns, and team members to maximize business results.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of digital marketers, providing clear priorities, ongoing feedback, performance management, and career development opportunities.
  • Partner with demand generation leadership to establish KPIs, performance targets, measurement frameworks, and accountability across digital marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, competitive activity, and campaign data to identify new opportunities for growth and improved performance.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and strategic partners, ensuring performance aligns with expectations and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align digital marketing strategies with broader organizational priorities and growth goals.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of digital marketing experience, including deep hands-on expertise managing large-scale Paid Search programs across platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Demonstrated expertise in high-budget campaign management, bid strategy and automation, keyword development, account structure, optimization, and performance analysis.
  • Strategic knowledge of Pay-Per-Lead, Programmatic, Video, and Paid Social sufficient to establish strategy, define standards, and evaluate campaign outcomes.
  • 2+ years of direct people-management experience, with a proven ability to set strategy, delegate execution, coach individual contributors, and maintain accountability for results.
  • Proven ability to translate channel performance and marketing data into compelling strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with marketing and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Search Ads 360, Salesforce, Tableau, Marketo, or comparable tools.
  • Familiarity with first-party audience targeting, segmentation, and campaign, creative, and Floodlight tracking implementations.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to balance strategic leadership and operational accountability.
  • A data-driven mindset and strong analytical capabilities, with a demonstrated focus on measurable outcomes and continuous optimization.
  • Experience in healthcare, technology, SaaS, or performance marketing agency environments is preferred but not required.
Conditions
  • Base salary: $127,000–$145,000 USD for the Zone 1 national-average pay band; compensation may vary based on geographic zone, experience, qualifications, and job-related factors.
