Senior Casting Technology Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own technical processes and product activities for the casting commodity.
• Support the development, industrialization, and implementation of new casting technologies.
• Plan and execute process-engineering activities for new product and technology development.
• Collaborate with Quality and Design Engineering teams.
• Partner with sourcing teams on casting supplier development.
• Mentor suppliers on quality tools, requirements, manufacturing practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a change agent.
• Communicate project progress, technical challenges, risks, and opportunities.
• Support technology maturation, new product introduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional casting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing process engineering, casting technology, supplier development.
• Ability to travel approximately 25–50%.
• Experience with SX and Equiax investment casting is preferred.
• Experience with additive manufacturing and NPI is preferred.
• Proficiency with Siemens NX or comparable CAD system is desirable.
• Familiarity with TRL and MRL maturation is preferred.
• Experience with APQP and PPAP processes is an advantage.
• Project management capabilities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Analytical and structured problem-solving approach.
• U.S. Person status required.

Conditions

• Fully remote work arrangement in the United States.
• Base salary range of $116,000–$160,000.
