Frontend Engineer

• The role is open to early-career and intermediate engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build shared components and patterns in React and TypeScript, turning recurring product needs into flexible solutions.
• Partner with designers and product engineers to connect design intent with working software; evolve components and tokens across Figma and code.
• Improve the quality of experiences built with components, bringing accessibility, thoughtful interactions, and reliable behavior into implementation and testing.
• Make the design system easier to use by improving examples, documentation, and workflows.
• Use AI tools to explore approaches and move ideas into working code, applying judgment to generated output.

Requirements

• Foundation in React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS with experience building interfaces.
• Care for visual craft and accessible interfaces.
• Hands-on fluency with AI coding tools.
• Ownership and willingness to learn.
• Curiosity about reusable systems and tradeoffs of shared components.
• Interest in solving problems alongside designers and engineers.
• Experience with design systems, prototyping, or developer tooling is a plus.

Conditions

• Location: San Francisco, CA, New York, NY, Portland, OR, or Remote within Canada or United States.
• US base salary range $140,800 – $158,400 USD; Canadian range $115,700 – $149,700 CAD.
• Total rewards include base salary, equity (stock options/RSUs), and benefits.
