This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Account Manager based in Brazil.
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will own relationships with a portfolio of large enterprise customers in a fast-growing, technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Own strategic relationships with major enterprise accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor while identifying opportunities to maximize customer ROI.
- Develop and execute account strategies focused on customer success, retention, adoption, and long-term growth.
- Proactively identify expansion, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities within strategic accounts and contribute to revenue growth objectives.
- Lead the end-to-end customer implementation and go-live lifecycle, coordinating with Implementation Engineers, Product Managers, and other internal stakeholders.
- Translate complex product, technology, fraud, and compliance challenges into clear, practical recommendations for customers.
- Advise customers on fraud prevention, risk management, compliance, payments, and related best practices.
- Build, monitor, analyze, and communicate key performance indicators, including fraud rates and system performance metrics.
- Use customer and market insights to identify emerging fraud typologies and recommend opportunities for improving risk strategies and outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with Solutions Architects, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Integration teams, and Support Engineers to resolve issues and deliver customer value.
- Provide first-level technical guidance around API integrations and coordinate more complex technical needs with specialist teams.
- Maintain accurate customer information, requests, account activities, and workflows across relevant business systems and platforms.
- Serve as a strong internal advocate for customers, translating their needs and feedback into actionable recommendations for product and business teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS account management, customer success, or solutions architecture, ideally supporting technical products within a high-growth or startup environment.
- Professional fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, with excellent presentation and communication skills for engaging stakeholders at different levels.
- Experience in at least two of the following areas: payments, fraud, cryptocurrency, or compliance.
- Strong familiarity with the Brazilian market, including payment processing, fraud typologies, KYC, AML, and sanctions screening.
- Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to use data, BI tools, and AI-driven solutions to support decision-making and improve customer outcomes.
- Working knowledge of API integrations and sufficient technical understanding to provide first-level support in collaboration with engineering and integrations teams.
- Ability to manage complex enterprise relationships, balance strategic priorities with day-to-day execution, and communicate effectively across technical and business audiences.
- High degree of ownership, self-motivation, adaptability, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
- Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Pylon, Notion, and customer-facing risk or analytics platforms is desirable.
