Responsibilities
- Act as the technical lead for partners, advising on OAuth flows, log pipelines, OpenTelemetry, and MCP-based and API-based integrations and configurations.
- Partner closely with Datadog Partner, Product and Engineering teams to identify, prioritize, and drive joint integration roadmaps.
- Perform architectural assessments and deep-dive code reviews for partner integrations and marketplace repositories.
- Solve complex technical challenges for partners via dedicated technical consultations.
- Identify friction points in the Datadog platform and partner with internal Product and Engineering teams.
- Maintain public-facing developer documentation including blog posts, and internal tracking systems.
- Track trends across the AI/ML and data platform ecosystems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in a technical role (Partner Engineering, Support Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Software Development).
- Proficient in at least one programming language (Python or Go preferred).
- Understanding of monitoring fundamentals (Metrics, Logs, Traces) and modern standards like OpenTelemetry.
- Comfortable working with APIs, Linux environments, and cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to developers of varying skill levels.
