Responsibilities

• Ship features and improvements to the tasking-to-delivery Web UIs reliably and predictably within the team's agile delivery cadence.
• Raise frontend code quality and maintainability through clean, well-tested React/TypeScript contributions and active participation in code review.
• Maintain reliability, observability, and performance of live production UIs through safe, incremental, and monitored deployments.
• Translate product, customer, and stakeholder input into shipped solutions, working effectively across team and engineering domain boundaries.
• Contribute occasionally full-stack to backend APIs (Node.js/TS, Postgres) to unblock delivery when needed.

Requirements

• Deep, senior level experience in frontend software development, with excellent knowledge of React, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Experience owning the architecture of a frontend subsystem, making trade-offs on state management, performance and component boundaries.
• Knowledge of UX principles and ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
• Understanding of REST APIs and backend integration patterns as well as CI/CD pipelines and modern development and quality assurance workflows.
• Ability and willingness to occasionally go fullstack and contribute to backend APIs using Node.js/TS and Postgres.
• Experience working with live production systems with safe daily deployments.
• Belief that testing, documentation, and code reviews are essential parts of engineering.
• Eagerness to understand business and customer problems and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Uses AI-powered engineering tools daily.
• Bonus: experience with geospatial data (PostGIS, GeoJSON).

• Location: Espoo, Finland
• Workplace model: Hybrid, 3 days a week at the office
• Employment type: Permanent
• Base salary range: 6000-8000 € per month (gross), depending on experience
• Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO)
