Responsibilities
- Design and automate the networking foundations for large-scale compute clusters across all the major cloud providers, connecting millions of VMs running on Databricks.
- Lead the design and development of secure and scalable connectivity that powers all the data / AI workloads.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and other engineering teams, to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and efficient networking systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production-level experience in one of: Python, Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language.
- 4+ years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures.
- Extensive experience working on large-scale compute clusters, network connectivity, and automation.
