This position is listed on behalf of a partner company that manages all applications and next steps. The partner is looking for an Associate Director of Marketing based in Brazil.
Responsibilities
- Lead a globally distributed marketing team spanning brand, creative, content, photography, social media, performance marketing, SEO, lifecycle marketing, and CRM
- Develop and maintain brand strategy, tone of voice, and visual identity across all touchpoints
- Oversee social media strategy and execution across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms
- Manage marketing initiatives across more than 60 OTA platforms and direct-booking channels
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns aligned with seasonal travel trends and new market launches
- Guide paid social, paid search, programmatic advertising, affiliate marketing, and attribution initiatives
- Build scalable content and photography production processes across a portfolio of more than 3,000 properties
- Coach team members, manage performance, and oversee external vendors and agency partners
- Track marketing budgets, develop forecasts, and report to senior leadership
- Integrate AI tools into content generation, creative production, media buying, analytics, and workflows
Requirements
- At least 5 years of marketing experience, including substantial experience in luxury hospitality, travel, premium vacation rentals, or boutique hotels
- Experience developing, managing, or scaling premium brands
- Hands-on expertise in social media strategy, content development, and creative marketing
- Direct experience managing OTA channels, particularly Airbnb and Vrbo
- Familiarity with paid acquisition, search marketing, affiliate strategies, SEO, lifecycle marketing, CRM, and performance measurement
- Experience managing distributed teams, contractors, and agency partners
- Strong practical knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude
- Strategic and analytical thinking with budget management skills
- Excellent written and spoken English at a near-native level
