Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models, transformations, and materializations in Snowflake
• Work hands-on with Google Analytics data in a production environment
• Develop, review, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries and Python code
• Analyze API documentation and translate endpoints, objects, fields, and identifiers into data integration solutions
• Implement and maintain data validation practices across pipeline stages
• Apply Git-based workflows: version control, code reviews, testing, CI/CD
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical specifications
• Identify opportunities to improve data models, transformation logic, and pipeline reliability

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or marketing data
• Hands-on professional experience with Google Analytics data in a business or production environment
• Professional experience supporting data initiatives in retail or e-commerce
• Advanced SQL skills, including data modeling and materializations in Snowflake
• Working proficiency in Python (read, evaluate, debug, improve code)
• Experience interpreting API documentation and mapping endpoints to requirements
• Practical experience with Git and version-controlled workflows, including code reviews, testing, CI/CD
• Strong understanding of data quality and validation techniques
• Excellent stakeholder management and requirements-gathering skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
