This is a senior consulting and data strategy opportunity focused on helping enterprise organizations turn complex data ecosystems into measurable marketing outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional client engagements and ensure cohesive delivery across data, analytics, marketing, experience, and technology competencies.
- Identify and prioritize data use cases and initiatives that align with clients’ marketing objectives and broader business goals.
- Lead data strategy programming, including data signal assessments, KPI development, ecosystem and readiness evaluations, co-innovation sessions, strategic roadmaps, and value creation cycles.
- Assess client data maturity and stakeholder needs, facilitate prioritization, and coordinate strategic data and agile roadmaps across programs.
- Develop recommendations for advancing client data capabilities, including data warehousing, modeling, engineering, business intelligence, analytics, and related activities.
- Collaborate with delivery teams, channel owners, and functional specialists to translate business objectives into actionable marketing strategies, initiatives, and tactics.
- Provide strategic oversight and guidance to Data Strategy team members working on complex client accounts.
- Analyze program performance and communicate results to client and account stakeholders, using insights to demonstrate value and support expansion and additional investment opportunities.
- Build and develop a high-performing Data Strategy team with the expertise required to serve as trusted advisors to clients.
- Maintain subject matter expertise as data, analytics, marketing, and technology platforms evolve, creating playbooks and documentation that enable scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams on strategic content, case studies, thought leadership, and other materials that strengthen market positioning.
- Partner with client service executives and business development teams on pitches, estimates, statements of work, QBRs, and follow-on opportunities.
- Maintain strong billable utilization while proactively identifying opportunities to expand client engagements.
- Promote strong information security practices, including appropriate use of information assets, malware protection, password security, and awareness of security requirements.
- Identify and communicate risks affecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.
- Ensure data is stored, processed, transmitted, and protected in accordance with applicable privacy and security standards, including GDPR and CCPA.
- Integrate appropriate data protection measures throughout the information lifecycle, particularly when working with sensitive client or customer data.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience in digital, consulting, analytics, data strategy, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing data strategies that support digital marketing, customer experience, analytics, or business transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of digital analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or comparable platforms.
- Working knowledge of SQL and modern data ecosystems is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud data technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, and Azure, particularly as they relate to customer, digital, and operational data.
- Understanding of marketing technology platforms, including ecosystems such as Adobe and Salesforce.
- Strong knowledge of advanced analytics and the broader digital data and marketing technology landscape.
- Experience assessing data maturity, defining KPIs, identifying data gaps, and translating business objectives into actionable data roadmaps.
- Understanding of data governance, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong consulting, communication, facilitation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence without direct authority, and create alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop trusted client relationships and identify opportunities for account growth and expansion.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with practical execution skills and the ability to turn complex data challenges into clear recommendations.
- Experience mentoring consultants and developing team capabilities is preferred.
- Ability to maintain current expertise as data, analytics, AI, and marketing technology platforms evolve.
- Willingness and ability to contribute to proposals, pitches, estimates, statements of work, and business development activities.
