This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Business Systems Analyst based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming support requests and production issues, analyzing, prioritizing, and resolving tickets according to established service level agreements.
- Provide front-end user support and back-end system troubleshooting across advertising sales technology platforms.
- Investigate system issues involving integrations, calculations, data flows, and business logic while identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to resolve defects and improve system functionality.
- Understand how technical issues impact business operations and escalate critical incidents when necessary.
- Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base resources.
- Monitor system performance through alerts, logging, and proactive issue detection processes.
- Analyze workflows and recommend improvements, including automation opportunities and operational enhancements.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to support issue resolution, documentation, and productivity improvements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand system architecture, integrations, and evolving business requirements.
- Participate in occasional evening support activities and rotating weekend on-call coverage for urgent operational needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with advertising sales systems or related business technology platforms.
- Proven experience troubleshooting software applications, system integrations, and technical issues.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with data analysis and backend troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting business users and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt schedules to support operational and special event requirements.
- Experience developing automation solutions through scripting, testing, RPA, or similar technologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with modern technology architectures, including APIs, data streams, and microservices, is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
