This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Checkout based in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Own the core checkout experience where consumers review and select payment terms, with a focus on improving conversion, clarity, confidence, and overall user experience.
- Design, prioritize, and execute experiments that help consumers better understand and choose their payment options.
- Define and launch new UX patterns and product experiences informed by user research, quantitative data, experimentation, and close partnership with Design and Analytics.
- Partner with Legal and Compliance to understand regulatory requirements and incorporate them effectively into the customer experience.
- Collaborate with international product teams to expand the terms experience into new markets while adapting to local customer expectations and maintaining a coherent design system.
- Develop a deep understanding of consumer behavior and communicate actionable insights to product teams and stakeholders.
- Build and drive an ambitious product roadmap by identifying high-impact opportunities, aligning cross-functional partners, and managing execution from discovery through launch and continuous improvement.
- Establish strong working relationships across Product, Design, Engineering, Research, Analytics, Legal, and Compliance to drive alignment and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Product Management experience, ideally with significant exposure to consumer-facing digital products.
- Strong product and UX judgment, with an ability to recognize and create interactions that are clear, intuitive, polished, and engaging.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, evaluate experiments, and combine quantitative and qualitative insights to identify product opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to execute with a high degree of ownership, proactively identify priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality products.
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams across Product, Design, Engineering, Analytics, and Research, building alignment without relying on formal authority.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate product strategy, explain trade-offs, and create clarity among diverse stakeholders.
- A growth-oriented and coachable mindset, with a willingness to seek feedback, learn quickly, and continuously improve.
- Experience with checkout, e-commerce, fintech, payments, or other high-volume consumer experiences is considered an asset.
Conditions
- Annual base salary range of $153,000–$213,000 CAD, with placement influenced by location, experience, and job-related skills.
