Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of the trading platform
• Design and develop sophisticated, responsive interfaces for professional users
• Build and optimise real-time product experiences: portfolio dashboards, trading activity feeds, leaderboards, campaign interfaces, prize pools, VIP tier progression, rebate tracking
• Lead the development lifecycle of new features from ideas through launch and iteration
• Work across frontend applications, APIs, backend services, databases, and data infrastructure
• Collaborate with onchain data and indexing infrastructure teams
• Manage integrations with ecosystem partners: DEXes, perpetuals platforms, launchpads, wallets, data providers
• Engage directly with traders, proprietary trading firms, and market makers
• Establish high engineering standards across frontend architecture, performance, code quality, testing, observability, reliability

Requirements

• Proven track record of building and launching user-facing products end to end
• Deep expertise in TypeScript or JavaScript and frameworks such as React or Next.js
• Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals
• Experience developing real-time, data-intensive interfaces
• Experience with data pipelines, indexing systems, or real-time infrastructure
• Working knowledge of the Solana blockchain
• Familiarity with DeFi and market structure: spot and perpetuals markets, AMMs, order books, maker/taker dynamics, fees, rebates
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience building trading interfaces or financial dashboards is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with points, rewards, loyalty, or incentive systems is beneficial
• Hands-on experience with Solana data infrastructure (Helius, Pyth, Geyser plugins) is a plus
• Experience with Rust or Solana programs is a plus
