Responsibilities
- Back-end Development: Design, build, and evolve scalable backend systems using Python/Django
- UI Development: Develop and evolve frontend experiences in React/Typescript
- Implementation & Ownership: Lead complex initiatives from discovery through deployment
- Raising the Bar: Drive engineering excellence through mentorship, architectural reviews, and adoption of best practices
- Data-Driven Product Development: Partner with Product, Data, and UX teammates to identify opportunities and validate hypotheses
- System Design: Shape architectural direction for complex systems
- Prioritisation & Decision-Making: Navigate ambiguity and align technical investments with business objectives
- Technical Leadership: Influence technical direction beyond immediate scope
- Chasing Excellence: Continuously raise the quality bar
Requirements
- AI Expertise: Forefront user of Agentic AI
- Full-Stack Expertise: Backend-heavy full-stack role (85% backend, 15% frontend)
- Scalable Systems & Architecture: Experience designing and evolving large-scale web applications
- Technical Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions
- Product & Business Impact: Strong product mindset
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Comfortable navigating ambiguity
