Accountabilities
The Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager will own the development and execution of lifecycle marketing strategies that increase customer engagement, product adoption, retention, and expansion. This role will combine creative campaign execution, technical marketing operations, and analytical optimization to deliver personalized customer experiences and revenue impact.
- Build and manage lifecycle marketing programs across onboarding, activation, adoption, retention, renewal support, and expansion.
- Translate lifecycle strategies into campaign briefs, automated journeys, nurture programs, audience definitions, and trigger-based workflows.
- Identify key customer behaviors, signals, and lifecycle moments to create targeted engagement opportunities.
- Develop segmented and personalized campaigns that improve customer engagement, product usage, retention, and growth.
- Design and execute cross-sell and expansion programs, including audience selection, journey creation, testing, execution, and performance analysis.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to support expansion opportunities, customer handoffs, and feedback loops.
- Apply AI tools and automation techniques to improve campaign efficiency, personalization, segmentation, and content development.
- Support AI-enabled marketing initiatives such as predictive audiences, propensity targeting, next-best-action recommendations, and automated insights.
- Build testing strategies across messaging, segmentation, timing, personalization, offers, and channel performance.
- Analyze lifecycle performance metrics and translate insights into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, Analytics, Product Marketing, Product, and Legal teams to align programs with business objectives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, customer marketing, growth marketing, demand generation, marketing automation, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience building and managing lifecycle, nurture, CRM, customer engagement, or marketing automation programs.
- Proven experience creating complex automated customer journeys using behavioral triggers, customer attributes, lifecycle stages, scoring models, suppression rules, and personalization.
- Experience developing cross-sell, upsell, expansion, adoption, or retention campaigns with measurable results.
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management, including onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, renewal, and expansion strategies.
- Experience using customer, product, CRM, and marketing engagement data to build audiences, segments, reporting frameworks, and optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with AI-powered marketing tools, predictive analytics, experimentation, personalization, or next-best-action approaches.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple business functions.
- Ability to explain marketing strategies, campaign logic, performance insights, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
