• Remote freelance role designing and delivering technical ML courses for engineers

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with curriculum team to define course structure, lessons, labs, and notebooks
• Write detailed lab specifications and test completed environments
• Develop short story-driven video lessons (~6 minutes each)
• Narrate scripted lessons in English and record demonstrations and lab walkthroughs
• Build course material grounded in real ML model training, evaluation, and deployment experience
• Incorporate editorial feedback through structured reviews
• Coordinate with curriculum and production teams via weekly syncs and Slack

Requirements

• Hands-on ML experience training, evaluating, and shipping models with scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
• Strong technical communication skills for explaining ML concepts to engineers
• Excellent written and spoken English, confident on camera
• Genuine passion for teaching (courses, tutorials, talks, workshops, mentoring)
• Current technical knowledge and commitment to continuous learning
• Openness to feedback and established teaching methodology

Preferred

• Experience publishing courses on Udemy, Pluralsight, Coursera or YouTube content
• Technical book writing or teaching at university/bootcamp
• Knowledge of fine-tuning, MLOps, or production ML deployment
• Cloud ML certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks)
