Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify relevant RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, ITBs, bids, solicitations, and other procurement opportunities from state and local governments, public agencies, higher education institutions, and K-12 organizations.
  • Manage assigned SLED solicitations from intake through final submission, creating and maintaining response schedules, compliance matrices, timelines, and review cycles.
  • Analyze procurement documents to identify mandatory requirements, evaluation criteria, deadlines, forms, certifications, submission procedures, and other compliance obligations.
  • Draft, edit, proofread, and tailor proposal responses for public-sector audiences, translating product, technical, security, implementation, and support capabilities into clear and compelling answers.
  • Maintain approved proposal content, public-sector boilerplate, customer references, certifications, security responses, and supporting documentation, coordinating with subject matter experts to keep materials accurate and current.
  • Support bid/no-bid decisions by summarizing solicitation requirements, timelines, risks, resource requirements, and strategic considerations.
  • Track amendments, bidder questions, pre-bid conferences, addenda, upcoming procurements, renewals, contract expirations, and other indicators of future opportunities.
  • Serve as the central coordination point for internal contributors throughout active bids, ensuring Sales, Legal, Security, Product, Finance, Professional Services, and Customer Success provide accurate and approved content on schedule.
  • Partner with SLED Account Executives to align opportunities with target accounts, territories, sales priorities, and broader go-to-market strategies.
  • Maintain strong proposal processes and content libraries to improve response quality, consistency, efficiency, and compliance across multiple concurrent opportunities.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in RFP management, proposal development, public-sector sales support, government contracting, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing complex solicitation documents and managing compliance-driven proposal responses, preferably within SLED or another public-sector environment.
  • Familiarity with government RFPs, RFIs, ITBs, cooperative purchasing, public bid portals, and formal government procurement processes.
  • Experience working in SaaS, enterprise software, legal technology, or another technology environment serving public-sector organizations.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, persuasive proposal content.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple contributors and competing deadlines simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to interpret and follow highly specific procurement instructions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly when assessing requirements, risks, timelines, and bid priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales and diverse cross-functional teams while maintaining ownership of proposal timelines and deliverables.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, proposal management platforms, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and content management or proposal libraries.
  • Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and maintaining high-quality output in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and coordinate with distributed teams.
Conditions
  • Base salary: $74,000–$90,000 per year, with final compensation determined by skills, education, experience, and work location.
  • Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
  • Three medical plan options, plus dental and vision coverage.
  • Employer HSA contribution for employees enrolled in the HDHP plan.
  • 401(k) with a 100% match on the first 3% and 50% match on the next 2% of employee contributions.
  • Flexible paid time off, 7 sick days, and 9 paid company holidays annually.
  • Paid leave for birth parents, non-birth parents, and caregivers.
  • Surrogacy and adoption reimbursement.
  • 100% employer-paid life and disability insurance.
  • Voluntary benefits including hospital indemnity, critical illness, accident, and pet insurance.
