Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Ruby on Rails
- Build new product features and improve existing platform functionality
- Collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions and estimate development efforts
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code suitable for production environments
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical decision-making
- Troubleshoot technical issues and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability
- Take ownership of features throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements and implementation to testing and deployment
- Work closely with distributed engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement in development practices, tooling, and engineering workflows
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial experience in backend or full-stack software engineering
- Strong practical experience with Ruby on Rails, preferably recent experience building and maintaining production applications
- Demonstrated ability to develop and scale applications used by real customers
- Experience owning features from initial requirements through development, testing, and deployment
- Previous experience in a startup, scale-up, or similarly fast-moving environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance code quality with delivery speed
- Excellent English communication skills and experience collaborating with international teams
- Willingness and comfort working with uncensored AI companionship products and explicit NSFW content

Preferred Qualifications

Conditions
- Annual salary of €75,000–€105,000, depending on location and experience
