About the role
Anthropic is building the Forward Deployed Engineering team to help organizations adopt Claude. Technical Deployment Leads (TDLs) and Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) embed with strategic customers to ship production AI applications. As a Manager of Technical Deployment in EMEA, you lead a team of TDLs embedded with strategic customers. This role is based in London.
Responsibilities
- Hire, develop, and retain a team of TDLs embedded in engagements across EMEA
- Manage each TDL directly: regular 1:1s, clear expectations, direct feedback, and a growth plan
- Define the delivery strategy for your portfolio: which companies we engage, which use cases we prioritize
- Own portfolio health across your team and intervene early when delivery drifts
- Own customer outcomes across the portfolio, hold executive relationships with customer sponsors, run steering committees
- Make the staffing call for each engagement
- Lead the most complex engagements yourself
