Responsibilities
- Co-create product vision and strategy with Product and Engineering, contributing a strong design perspective to priorities, opportunities, and future direction.
- Independently own high-impact and greenfield challenges end to end, from shaping vision and direction through to shipped experiences.
- Create bold, differentiating experiences through exceptional interaction and visual craft, thoughtful judgment, and a clear point of view; explore alternatives, notice details, and push beyond the obvious.
- Coach and mentor designers, influence teams beyond the immediate area, and evolve practices and standards that raise Design quality.
Requirements
- Staff, Lead, or equivalent experience in a mature product design organisation, working on consumer-facing, mobile-first products at scale.
- Track record of shaping product vision and strategy in close partnership with Product and Engineering, not just executing against it.
- Exceptional interaction and visual craft, strong product judgment, a clear point of view, and an experimental mindset.
- Experience coaching designers, raising the craft bar, and influencing how teams work.
- Intentional approach to AI in design practice, including judging where it adds value, where it introduces noise, and the quality of its output.
