Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement secure and scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, OmniStudio, Flow, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Design, build, configure, and deploy Agentforce agents and custom agent actions.
- Develop custom agent capabilities using Apex, Flow, and prompt templates.
- Configure agent topics, instructions, and guardrails.
- Ground AI agents in enterprise data sources.
- Test, evaluate, troubleshoot, and refine Agentforce performance.
- Lead or contribute to technical design sessions.
- Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle.
- Build efficient, maintainable, and performant code.
- Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Conduct code reviews and promote high standards.
- Diagnose and resolve Salesforce application issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and emerging AI technologies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An interim Secret security clearance or higher is required.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Salesforce platforms in Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of general professional experience.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Certified Administrator certifications.
- 3–5 years of experience with OmniScript and FlexCards.
- At least 3 years of experience developing Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages.
- Full-stack engineering experience, including database development and integration.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience designing and deploying Agentforce agents and custom actions.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce development architecture.
- Proficiency in Apex and declarative technologies such as Flow and OmniStudio.
- Strong working knowledge of Agentforce.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns.
- Experience with prompt engineering and Salesforce prompt templates is preferred.
- Familiarity with grounding AI agents in Data Cloud is preferred.
- Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Public sector experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Must successfully complete applicable pre-employment requirements.

- Competitive compensation: estimated starting salary range of $120,000–$160,000.
