Responsibilities
- Provide end user support on Mac and Chromebook systems.
- Staff in-person and/or virtual help desks.
- Participate in a team rotation of weekend check-ins, typically involving four hours of weekend work.
- Provide support for international onboarding.
- Develop a deep understanding of Oscar's internal IT functions to efficiently support end users and optimize SLAs.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures while assisting users, and proactively suggest improvements when necessary.
- Contribute to meticulous documentation maintenance, ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date records.
- Show initiative and drive in actions, projects, and interactions, introducing positive changes to IT workflows.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience supporting Mac users in large environments, demonstrating patience in troubleshooting and educating users.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Conditions
- This position is based in our NYC office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule.
- The hourly pay for this role is: $22.21 - $29.15 per hour. You are also eligible for employee benefits, monthly vacation accrual at a rate of 15 days per year and annual performance bonuses.
