Responsibilities
- Shape and manage a quarterly portfolio of embedded AI enablement engagements, prioritizing opportunities where AI can deliver meaningful business and workflow leverage.
- Guide initiatives from workflow discovery and platform exploration through requirements definition, delivery, adoption, and reusable AI platform improvements.
- Identify opportunities to turn successful engagements into scalable capabilities, adoption patterns, playbooks, and repeatable team practices.
- Protect engineering capacity for high-leverage work that creates compounding value across the organization.
- Coordinate AI Platform, product engineering, data, security, and business stakeholders around opportunities requiring shared investment.
- Establish repeatable engagement models and practical playbooks that make successful AI adoption easier for teams across the organization.
- Lead and coach engineers, helping them combine strong technical judgment with curiosity, empathy, and clear communication.
- Make complex AI concepts understandable to technical and non-technical stakeholders and create shared context around priorities and decisions.
- Track and communicate engagement outcomes, adoption progress, blockers, and next steps to stakeholders and leadership.
- Balance multiple initiatives and cross-team dependencies while maintaining focus on the highest-impact work.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 1 year of experience leading software teams or significant technical initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead team-level delivery of customer-facing or internal technical solutions.
- Strong practical knowledge of AI tools and technologies, with sound judgment around responsible AI deployment and organizational adoption.
- Strong product instincts, including the ability to assess opportunities, define success criteria, prioritize work, and make effective quarterly tradeoffs.
- Experience working directly with varied users and stakeholders to understand workflows and influence improvements in processes and outcomes.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements, cross-functional relationships, and technical dependencies while protecting team capacity and focus.
- Proven coaching mindset and experience helping engineers strengthen their technical judgment, communication, and collaborative practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clarity and alignment across engineering and business teams.
- Strong curiosity, empathy, and adaptability, particularly when working through ambiguous problems and emerging technologies.
- Ability to translate field learning into clear technical requirements and scalable platform opportunities.
Conditions
- Base salary: $164,200–$240,000 annually.
