Operations Research Engineer

About the company

• Telleqt is looking for a Senior Optimization Engineer for a manufacturing automation project in Thailand.
• We are building a finite-capacity production scheduling system for food manufacturing. The optimizer must handle multi-stage production, filling, retorting, shared equipment, production calendars, capacity constraints and sequence-dependent changeovers.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Operations Research / Mathematical Optimization
• MILP, Constraint Programming, scheduling and combinatorial optimization
• Hands-on experience with OR-Tools / CP-SAT, Gurobi, CPLEX, Timefold or similar
• Experience with real-world scheduling, planning or resource allocation problems
• Strong Python or modern C++
• Experience with heuristics, solver tuning, infeasibility diagnostics and production-quality software

Nice to have

• Manufacturing / supply chain optimization
• Finite-capacity or job-shop scheduling
• Multi-stage production planning
• Food manufacturing experience
