About the role
We are seeking a Brand Marketing Lead, Enterprise to build and lead brand marketing for Anthropic's enterprise business. In this role, you'll define how Claude shows up for the CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, developers, and IT and line-of-business leaders making platform decisions at the world's largest organizations — and translate Anthropic's research and safety work into a commercial narrative that helps win those decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Claude's enterprise brand strategy, positioning, and messaging architecture across the full enterprise buying committee
- Translate Claude's technical and research differentiation into business-value narratives tailored for technical, economic, and executive buyers
- Partner with product marketing, demand generation, and growth marketing teams to ensure brand programs directly influence funnel engagement.
- Lead distinctive, category-defining campaigns — briefing and championing bold creative work with internal and agency partners and protecting it through stakeholder review
- Build measurement frameworks that prove brand's contribution to commercial outcomes, from awareness and preference shifts to sales cycle impact
- Provide brand air cover for the revenue org during competitive deals, market moments, and target-account programs
- Build key brand tools that allow enterprise marketers to move fast supporting the field, partner, and customer marketing teams. Ensure there is capacity available to support their program needs.
- Ensure enterprise brand metrics are being developed and measured on a regular basis and are used to inform enterprise marketing work
Requirements
- B2B brand marketing experience at companies selling complex technology platforms to enterprise buyers
- Demonstrated track record of building or repositioning business brands to establish category leadership in fast-moving, competitive markets
- Experience partnering with product marketing, enterprise marketing, and sales to build programs that measurably influence pipeline and win rates
- Strong creative judgment and experience briefing and partnering with creative teams to deliver distinctive campaign work
- Experience establishing measurement frameworks that prove brand's contribution to commercial outcomes
Preferred qualifications
- 12+ years of B2B brand marketing experience, with significant time at enterprise technology companies
- Experience building and scaling a brand function from scratch or through a period of rapid growth
- Background marketing AI, developer platforms, cloud infrastructure, or other technical enterprise products
- Experience repositioning against dominant incumbents or displacing entrenched competitors in enterprise accounts
- Familiarity with the AI safety landscape and the importance of responsible AI development
- Experience developing global enterprise marketing strategies
- A passionate interest in AI and its potential to positively impact society
