Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, data analysts, and machine learning engineers to develop pipelines and ETL tasks in order to facilitate the extraction of insights.
- Establish data architecture processes and practices that can be scheduled, automated, replicated and serve as standards for other teams to leverage.
- Inform data team strategy by working with the product leaders and managers.
- Actively participate in execution and some planning of organizational data team strategy.
- Collaborate with Doximity’s Data Leadership team to ensure alignment and success across the entire Data Organization.
- Manage individual Data Engineers to foster learning, growth and success at Doximity.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of industry experience as a data engineer or similar role.
- Experience in creating automated testing, applying design patterns, and other engineering best practices.
- Expert in Python and fluency in SQL.
- Experience managing 3 or more people.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to contribute individually and as a manager.
- Led several projects from idea generation to delivery.
- Working knowledge of ML/AI applications deployment and monitoring.
Conditions
- US total compensation range: $172,000 - $254,000 inclusive of salary + equity.
