About the company

Responsibilities
- Own the full loop: understand the problem, define the solution, architect it, ship it, monitor it
- Build with AI as primary tool (Claude Code, Cursor)
- Co-design with stakeholders and the business: decision logic, risk thresholds, success metrics
- Build the evaluation harness before shipping
- Own production from day one: monitoring, alerting, observability, on-call
- Raise the bar in design reviews, code and team ways of working
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience as a backend engineer
- Experience shipping production AI systems
- Understanding of agentic architectures: orchestration, multi-step workflows, fallback and error logic
- Strong eval instincts: define metrics, build test sets
- Full-stack range across prompt, RAG pipeline, orchestrator and backend
- Comfortable across any stack
- Honest communication
- Understanding of reliability, maintainability, security, observability, latency and cost
- Real fluency with AI coding tools
- Understanding of AI-system risks: hallucinations, prompt injection, data leakage, unreliable tool execution, uncontrolled autonomy
- Fintech or regulated-environment experience is a good to have
