About the company
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Growth & Marketing Operations Manager based in Brazil.
Responsibilities
- Own marketing performance across markets and channels, tracking KPIs including qualified leads, CPL, CAC, conversion, revenue, ROI, and marketing-sourced revenue.
- Build and maintain reliable weekly performance reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and executive communications that turn data into actionable recommendations.
- Investigate changes in lead volume, lead quality, acquisition costs, conversion, and revenue to determine whether issues are related to strategy, execution, tracking, lead routing, follow-up, agencies, or market conditions.
- Identify and prioritize profitable growth opportunities across paid search, organic search, local SEO, Google Business Profiles, landing pages, CRM, lead reactivation, follow-up, and new growth experiments.
- Provide practical direction and quality control to agencies, vendors, and internal specialists across paid media, SEO, content, creative, websites, marketing automation, analytics, and related functions.
- Review and improve campaign structure, targeting, budgets, keywords, ad copy, conversion paths, SEO execution, CRM workflows, attribution, tracking, forms, and lead-routing processes.
- Establish clear expectations for agencies and vendors, including objectives, strategies, deliverables, KPIs, deadlines, results, and corrective actions.
- Build structure around marketing operations through priorities, project ownership, campaign calendars, testing backlogs, SOPs, training materials, quality-control processes, and issue tracking.
- Partner closely with Sales to understand the full lead-to-revenue journey and use downstream outcomes to improve targeting, qualification, routing, response times, messaging, and sales follow-up.
- Coordinate cross-functional marketing specialists, setting direction, identifying issues, coaching team members, and ensuring accountability for outcomes.
- Work directly with senior leadership to prioritize initiatives, present recommendations, incorporate feedback, and manage the day-to-day marketing operating system.
- Establish a testing and optimization roadmap while continuously eliminating, automating, delegating, or simplifying low-value work.
- Improve attribution accuracy, CAC visibility, execution quality, vendor performance, internal capabilities, and the organization’s ability to understand where growth is coming from.
- Within the first 90 days, establish a dependable marketing scorecard, clarify ownership, assess agency and vendor performance, improve reporting and attribution, identify priority growth opportunities, document key SOPs, and establish an effective operating rhythm with leadership.
Requirements
- Approximately 5–8+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, marketing operations, demand generation, digital marketing, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with several core growth and marketing technologies, including Google Ads/PPC, SEO, local SEO, Google Business Profiles, GA4, Google Search Console, CRM, marketing automation, lead routing, call tracking, attribution, reporting, conversion-rate optimization, landing pages, and websites.
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, or external specialists, with the ability to evaluate the quality of their strategy and execution rather than relying solely on their reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to diagnose marketing performance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Commercial mindset with a strong understanding of the connection between marketing activity, qualified opportunities, customer acquisition costs, conversion, revenue, and ROI.
- Experience working across multiple markets, channels, business units, or local-service environments is highly valuable.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, dependencies, and stakeholders.
- Technical credibility and comfort working directly with marketing platforms, analytics tools, websites, CRM systems, tracking, attribution, and implementation details.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present concise recommendations and performance insights to executives, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to move comfortably between strategy and execution, review detailed work, coach others, prioritize effectively, and maintain high standards for quality.
- Experience developing SOPs, training materials, operating processes, or quality-control frameworks is a strong advantage.
- A proactive, resourceful, dependable, curious, and coachable mindset, with a focus on outcomes and continuous improvement rather than activity alone.
- Experience personally identifying and correcting marketing problems is particularly valuable.
