This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. The partner is looking for a Senior Product Analyst – Credit Products based in India.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to evaluate credit product performance, identify trends, and deliver actionable business recommendations
- Monitor and interpret credit risk KPIs, identifying emerging risks and recommending mitigation strategies
- Partner with credit product managers and developers to guide design, development, and optimization of credit products
- Investigate lending performance and customer behavior to support product strategy and risk management
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management
- Translate analytical findings into practical recommendations balancing credit risk, product performance, and commercial objectives
- Continuously improve analytical methodologies and reporting processes
- Stay informed about fintech, credit analytics, lending products, and data analysis tools
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a credit-focused analyst, data analyst, or data scientist within fintech or banking
- Expert-level SQL skills, including navigating complex data warehouse structures
- Practical experience analyzing credit products, lending performance, or credit risk data
- Experience monitoring credit risk KPIs and developing mitigation strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter mindset with ability to work independently
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity
- Strong communication skills to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborative approach with product managers, developers, and cross-functional partners
