- Build a multi-million-dollar book of business from the ground up, with a strong emphasis on new customer acquisition and pipeline development.
- Present and sell video advertising opportunities across television, OTT/CTV, and DOOH inventory, articulating both insertion order (IO) and programmatic direct buying options.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with major advertisers, agency partners, programmatic teams, and direct clients across the Pacific Northwest, Bay Area, and Portland.
- Introduce innovative advertising solutions to brands and agencies, helping them understand how to allocate video advertising budgets effectively across emerging platforms.
- Build relationships with major regional advertisers, particularly in technology, telecommunications, e-commerce, travel, and apparel.
- Evaluate incoming requests for proposals (RFPs), prioritizing opportunities with strong revenue potential and long-term relationship value.

- Develop innovative, client-specific campaign strategies that create differentiated opportunities and generate measurable business value.
- Gather client feedback, identify market needs, and communicate recommendations to sales leadership.
- Monitor advertising industry trends, conferences, emerging technologies, and market opportunities to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Represent the business at industry events and client meetings, traveling regularly and participating in relationship-building activities outside standard working hours when needed.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, contributing to a team-first culture while independently managing territory development and sales objectives.
Requirements

- Verifiable client references who can speak to professional credibility, relationship strength, and a consistent record of sales results.
- Proven ability to build a multi-million-dollar book of business from scratch, with a clear focus on prospecting, new account acquisition, and revenue generation rather than managing an existing portfolio.
- Experience selling an emerging, unconventional, or differentiated media platform, ideally within a startup or similarly fast-moving environment.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight, develop a sales territory from the ground up, and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly for industry conferences, events, and in-person client meetings.
- Flexibility to entertain clients outside standard business hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, to support relationship development.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage numerous accounts and sales opportunities effectively.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills, including the ability to tailor pitch materials.
