- Engage directly with customers, brokers, and underwriters to understand their needs, identify valuable problems, and prioritize opportunities with meaningful business impact.
- Define product direction for Engineering, Data Science, Actuarial, and go-to-market teams, ensuring the full chain remains connected from underlying data and models through to pricing and underwriting decisions.

- Translate complex data, technical, and business considerations into clear product decisions and actionable requirements.
- Use quantitative analysis and product performance data to identify issues, investigate anomalies, and guide prioritization and product improvements.
- Build strong partnerships with technical teams and contribute to sound decisions involving data systems, models, APIs, and product architecture.
- Lead cross-functional teams toward ambitious delivery timelines while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
- Operate with a strong ownership mindset, taking responsibility for products end-to-end and navigating challenges across data, models, systems, and business processes.

- Strong technical credibility and the ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering and Data Science teams, understand their work, and make informed technical decisions.

- Experience working successfully in a high-growth, dynamic startup or similarly fast-paced environment.
- Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science or Engineering is preferred; a Master's degree, PhD, or MBA is a plus.
