Responsibilities
Speak publicly at in-person and virtual conferences, meetups and other events
Answer questions from developers on Discuss (our forum), Slack and other forums
Build and share content, including social media posts, in-depth blog posts, example code, demos, tutorials and videos on elastic.co or our YouTube channel
Contribute code on GitHub both to Elastic and external repositories
Provide feedback from the developer community to our engineering teams to improve Elastic products
Keep up-to-date on the latest in search and AI, understand and advocate the Elastic Stack use cases
Requirements
Deep technical background and experience in an engineering role, such as software engineering
Demonstrated ability to create compelling content about technology — including speaking, writing, and demoing
Empathy for the community to help them solve their issues
Comfortable working with a highly distributed team
Experience working as a contributor in self-organizing teams
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English AND Portuguese
