About the company

• Partner company supporting Technical Assistance Center (TAC) teams for medical imaging applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage database-related requests for Synapse applications from the TAC project team.
• Collaborate with other Principal TAC engineers on database support activities.
• Develop cross-training methodologies focused on database technologies and best practices.
• Streamline database-related requests, including customer-specific scripts, extracts, and MRN conversions.
• Design and improve active database monitoring solutions for system health, performance, and availability.
• Provide database-related technical training and improve team readiness.
• Participate in customer site visits with occasional travel.
• Follow quality procedures and regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO 13485).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Oracle certification at OCA level or higher.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Advanced database administration knowledge across Synapse applications.
• Advanced understanding of HL7 and DICOM protocols.
• Knowledge of Synapse applications, workflows, and front-end technologies.
• Understanding of medical informatics architecture, including VMware and storage solutions.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Preferred: Master's degree, SQL certifications, Microsoft/VMware/Cisco certifications, Security+ or higher.
