Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and migration plan for unifying several backend systems into one platform
• Make key architecture and data-model decisions and drive them through execution across multiple engineering teams
• Deliver the platform's first production milestone within Q1 2027, then lead migration of remaining live products
• Set technical standards for other engineers
• Bring a point of view on AI-assisted engineering practices
• Partner with product and engineering leadership

Requirements

• Backend production engineering experience in Go or similar language
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and event-driven, message-based architectures
• Production experience with a major cloud provider (AWS preferred)
• Observability tooling: LGTM stack, Datadog, OpenTelemetry
• Track record of leading architecture renewal, platform consolidation, or large-scale migration end to end
• Ability to bring multiple engineering teams to a shared technical direction
• Nice to have: geospatial or space industry experience

Conditions

• Permanent, hybrid (3 days a week at the office)
• Base salary 8,500–10,500 EUR per month (gross)
• Security screening (incl. SUPO)
