Execute functional, regression, compatibility, and exploratory testing throughout the game development lifecycle.
Test gameplay mechanics, features, UI, controls, and game flows to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
Identify, document, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps, expected versus actual results, and supporting evidence such as screenshots or videos.
Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure issues have been fully resolved without introducing new defects.
Collaborate closely with developers, designers, producers, and other stakeholders to investigate, reproduce, and resolve reported issues.
Evaluate game usability, balance, and overall player experience, providing constructive feedback and improvement suggestions.
Validate game performance, stability, and compatibility across a wide range of mobile devices, operating systems, and hardware configurations.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Game Tester, QA Tester, or Quality Assurance Engineer within the game industry.
Strong passion for games and a solid understanding of game mechanics, player experience, and different game genres.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience executing structured test plans while also performing exploratory testing when needed.
Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document issues and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Good understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and defect lifecycle management.
Experience testing on multiple mobile devices, operating systems, and hardware configurations.
Familiarity with functional, regression, compatibility, usability, and performance testing.
