This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Lead Electrical Engineer based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Lead advanced electrical engineering design activities for hyperscale data centers and mission-critical facilities
- Design and oversee electrical distribution systems, power topologies, and equipment selection and sizing
- Direct project engineers in developing electrical construction drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit
- Prepare and review electrical specifications, proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and budgets
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews
- Lead construction-phase engineering activities including site assessments, submittal reviews, RFIs, and project closeout
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Mentor engineers and support training and professional development
- Identify and implement opportunities to use digital platforms, workflow automation, and AI-enabled tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in a relevant discipline
- At least 13 years of professional electrical engineering experience
- Advanced knowledge of building electrical systems including single-phase and three-phase power distribution, lighting controls, grounding, and life safety systems
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards including the National Electrical Code
- Experience with short-circuit analysis, protective device coordination, arc-flash studies, and lighting calculations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong client-facing skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
