Responsibilities
- Build AI creation workflows, Cinema Studio collaboration, and community features: sharing, discovery, contests, profiles, follows
- Own features and bugs through release and follow-up; define API contracts and coordinate frontend work
- Deliver responsive UX: live progress, timely updates, clear failure recovery
- Remove database and service bottlenecks under high traffic; improve correctness, latency, reliability
- Define success metrics, build dashboards and alerts, track adoption and system health
Requirements
- Deep database expertise: data modeling, indexes, query plans, partitioning, transactions, locking
- Strong architecture judgment: service boundaries, APIs, asynchronous workflows, caching, failure handling
- Hands-on Kubernetes and CI/CD experience
- Track record of shipping and operating backend systems including high-traffic workloads
- API security: authentication, object-level authorization, tenant isolation, prevent IDOR
- Experience with social networks and collaborative tools: feeds, follow graphs, notifications, sharing permissions, real-time sync, concurrent edits
- High agency and ownership, low ego, ambition
