Forward Deployed Engineer

• Position listed on behalf of a partner company managing applications
• Remote within Canada, limited to residents of Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario

Responsibilities

• Rapidly design and build AI-powered agents within client environments, including subagents, deterministic guardrails, dynamic actions, and data models
• Develop functional prototypes validating technical feasibility and business value
• Build and refine agentic AI solutions during competitive evaluations
• Lead recurring technical sessions with clients as primary technical point of contact
• Connect technical capabilities to measurable business outcomes (deflection, handling times, costs, satisfaction)
• Design and deliver interactive demonstrations of AI agent capabilities
• Diagnose and resolve issues in dialogue flows, agent execution, integrations, and platform constraints
• Assess enterprise architecture, integration dependencies, data models, and platform limitations
• Identify delivery risks and implement solutions to maintain momentum
• Convert lessons learned into reusable solution accelerators and documentation
• Use modern AI development tools to accelerate prototyping

Requirements

• At least 4 years delivering technical solutions, consulting, or solution engineering in client-facing environments
• At least 2 years building solutions with Agentforce, Service Cloud, or comparable agentic AI architectures
• Active Salesforce certifications: Agentforce Specialist, Platform Developer I, or System Administrator
• Ability to build functional solutions quickly and troubleshoot in real time
• Experience analyzing Salesforce Flows, Apex code, or agent execution traces
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integration patterns, data modeling
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills
