We are searching for our next team members to join our growing team. This is a 24-months fixed term contract.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services using Spring Boot / Node.js
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of system and deployment issues
- Assist in enhancing system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and maintainability
- Implement backend features following established security and development standards
- Work closely with frontend developers for API integration
- Support CI/CD processes and ongoing application development
- Participate in technical discussions and adoption of engineering practices
Requirements
- 2–5 years of software development experience
- Hands-on experience in: Java + Spring Boot, REST API development
- Basic experience with: Node.js, Maven
- Understanding of: Databases (SQL / NoSQL), Basic application security practices
- Exposure to agile or continuous development environments
- Backend Engineer should also have front end development experience
Preferred
- Candidates with Government / Defence (MINDEF / SAF) project experience advantageous
- Exposure to secure or regulated environments
- Basic familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS / Azure)
- Some experience participating in code reviews or team development standards
