Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across product and growth marketing to analyze and communicate how trends in key metrics affect business performance.
- Partner with product teams to perform deep-dive analysis to understand user engagement behavior.
- Design, implement and analyze experiments to measure the impact of new features on core product metrics.
- Collaborate with partners across technical and non-technical teams to bridge the gap between data and action.
- Help key-decision makers stay informed about the state of the business through internal data products built in tools like Amplitude, Tableau and Mode.
- Develop strong cross-functional partnerships across Calm to drive our team's success.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Comfortable manipulating data with Python or R.
- BA/BS in quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with designing, analyzing, and interpreting experiments.
- Ability to translate non-technical business requirements into technical solutions, and translate technical solutions into business outcomes.
- Strong relationship management and presentation skills.
- Pragmatic and impact-oriented, with the ability to balance scrappiness and rigor.
- Minimum 5 years of data science experience.
Conditions
- Base pay range across Calm’s pay tiers: $172,200 - $225,000. Exact salary depends on geographic location, skills, experience, and other qualifications.
