About the company
Platacard is a financial technology company. We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Risk team.
Risk is a large cross-functional organization covering key areas such as credit risk, collections, risk technology, and regulatory risk. The role focuses on initiatives that involve multiple teams and stakeholders across the organization.
The key challenge is to bring structure to these projects, align stakeholders, manage timelines and dependencies, and drive initiatives through to completion.
The Project Manager will also support the external side of Risk initiatives, including investor commitments and communications, external positioning of Risk / AI projects, AI employer brand, and Plata’s presence in the Mexican market.
Responsibilities
- Manage cross-functional projects within Risk: build project plans, align stakeholders, and keep track of timelines, dependencies, and commitments
- Track external project commitments and ensure they remain aligned with the actual progress of initiatives
- Support the external positioning of Risk / AI initiatives, including communications for investors
- Coordinate external communications and publications: collect input from subject-matter experts, manage timelines, and drive reviews and approvals across PR, Legal, and other stakeholders
- Adapt communications for different audiences — teams, management, and investors — while keeping key messages consistent
- Support Plata’s AI employer brand through conferences and other external initiatives aimed at increasing visibility among AI talent
- Support Plata’s presence and brand in the Mexican market
- Design and coordinate results showcases, creating a consistent framework for how different teams present their results
- Structure complex information and turn it into concise, clear materials for senior management and investors
Requirements
- 1.5+ years of experience in project management, project coordination, or a similar role
- Experience working on cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and parallel workstreams

- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with people at different levels of seniority without formal authority
- Strong executive communication skills: you can identify what matters in a large volume of complex information and turn it into clear key messages and visual materials
- B2+ English level for effective communication with an international team

- Flexible work from our office
- Healthcare Coverage
- Education Budget: Language lessons, professional training and certifications
- Wellness Budget: Mental health and fitness activity reimbursements
- Vacation policy: 20 days of annual leave and paid sick leave
