Responsibilities

• Define platform strategy and roadmap for dedicated infrastructure and platforms
• Drive business growth and customer outcomes in partnership with Product and executive leadership
• Lead distributed engineering teams across tenant orchestration, deployment automation, integrations, resilience, incident response, control plane APIs, public sector infrastructure, and migration tooling
• Ensure enterprise-grade reliability: high availability, disaster recovery, automated failover, rate limiting, SLA performance
• Advance public sector infrastructure: AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP compliance, audit readiness, air-gapped isolation, geographic replication
• Modernize enterprise migrations with self-service tools, guided workflows, playbooks, automated import
• Build and develop engineering leadership across distributed locations
• Champion AI-enabled engineering workflows
• Align architecture and investment decisions with Product, Security, Customer Support, and executives
• Drive operational and financial performance

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading engineering organizations for enterprise SaaS infrastructure and large-scale cloud environments
• Track record improving production reliability, reducing toil, optimizing infrastructure costs
• Deep understanding of cloud-native systems, cellular architectures, Infrastructure as Code, distributed systems, modular services
• Experience with FedRAMP and AWS GovCloud requirements
• Strategic and financial acumen
• Experience leading organizational change and introducing AI-enabled workflows
• Strong leadership and people development skills
• Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
• Customer-focused mindset
