Our partner is looking for a Global Product Manager - Advisory Services based in the United States. This role will lead the growth and development of a U.S. advisory services portfolio within the power distribution and energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow the U.S. advisory services portfolio, including Arc Flash Risk Assessments, Infrared Inspections, and LOTO, while aligning local priorities with global objectives.
- Develop portfolio strategies based on customer value, market dynamics, business performance, and emerging opportunities.
- Conduct market, customer, competitive, technology, and regulatory analysis to identify growth opportunities and evaluate potential new services.
- Develop compelling value propositions and contribute to investment, partnership, and portfolio expansion decisions.
- Create and execute U.S. business and go-to-market plans, including business models, pricing strategies, sales enablement, and strategic business development initiatives.
- Partner closely with sales, field service, operations, and global stakeholders to support successful execution and achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and executive-level decision makers, translating their needs into actionable service strategies.
- Contribute to the continuous development of service teams, processes, and offerings while promoting innovation and customer-focused solutions.
- Manage complex customer projects, strategic partnerships, and initiatives related to business expansion or M&A.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience across global functions such as product management, marketing, sales, account management, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience in service operations and field service, ideally within the power distribution, electrical, energy, or industrial sector.
- Strong understanding of customer needs, electrical products and applications, and service-based solutions.
- Demonstrated success developing innovative, customer-focused offerings and driving profitable service growth.
- Experience managing complex customer engagements, strategic partnerships, and business development initiatives, including M&A-related activities.
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable portfolio and go-to-market plans.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, particularly in complex and global environments.
- Global mindset with strong intercultural communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across geographies and functions.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
- Must already have work authorization permitting employment in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
Conditions
- Annual base salary expected to range from $119,000 to $190,400, depending on qualifications and experience.
- Eligibility for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
