Product Manager

Roblox is a platform where tens of millions of people explore, create, play, learn, and connect in 3D immersive digital experiences created by a global community of developers and creators. The Foundation AI group enables Roblox Creators to accelerate their workflows and puts GenAI in the hands of millions of users.

• Build a vision and strategy for real-time video generation that leads to industry-defining innovation in world models
• Own the launch to the community — from lab demo to creator early access to scaled platform capability
• Define the creator control surface: how creators condition, direct, and constrain the model
• Understand the model capabilities creators need — temporal coherence, multiplayer consistency, avatar fidelity, prompt and style adherence — and shape the research roadmap
• Develop comprehensive evaluation for models, combining automated metrics with creator and player feedback
• Work across the company — engine, rendering, creator, safety, and economy — to make generated pixels safe and age-appropriate
• Manage from vision through the product life cycle, prioritizing by working with creators and analyzing model usage

• Proven experience building, shipping, or supporting generative media products — video, image, or world models — or real-time rendering and graphics technology at scale
• Experience productizing research: turning model capabilities into product and product signal back into research priorities
• Deep understanding of the product life cycle and history of collaborating with engineering teams
• Experience shipping to large consumer or creator communities, ideally in gaming, UGC platforms, or creative tools
• Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Graphics, 3D Animation, or Games Production
• Passion for user-centric product decisions with an inclusive and strategic mindset

• Based in San Mateo, CA (hybrid with Tues-Thurs onsite)
• Annual salary range $330,950 – $383,120 USD
